The Darkness Past by AbaKon The Darkness Past by AbaKon
The Enterprise has come upon an unprecedented situation - at the very edge of Federation space, we have encountered a world which is and identical duplicate of...Vulcan. Or, at least, Vulcan as it was hundreds of years ago. The planet has been ravaged by war and life seems on the brink of extinction. How is it that the Vulcan we know found a peaceful solution to their barbaric ways while this world did not. Sociological surveys of planetary broadcasts and databases indicates something that may be key to understanding the situation here - they have been contacted by representatives of a man called Warlord Surak. Mr. Spock and a team of Vulcanian officers is departing Enterprise in a shuttlecraft to meet with Surak and see what, if anything, can be done to save this race from themselves.

Another gripping episode from Season IV of Star Trek. Hope you enjoy!

Nice! Sadly, I missed this episode - did Barry Atwater play Warlord Surak, too?

You bet
Very impressive!
Would have been interesting to see(and cool) if the series would have actually lasted to the fifth year of there voyage.
One of the Star Trek magazines I had mentioned that they has half of the 4th season scripts wrote out already when they canceled it after the third. They wound up using some of them in the Trek animated series.
