Starfarer: Treasure Trove

As the new Starfarer's shakedown cruise winds down, Chief Engineer Rua takes time to check over the new engines. While everything seems to be working fine, he wants to run a few indepth checks just to be safe. Meanwhile, Pa-Kur flips on the deep radar and takes a look at the unexplored system they've stopped in. Seconds later, he slaps the alert button and Thorian runs the thrusters up to full power. Not far away, Starfarer has detected an echo which can only be a Slaver Stasis Field. Speed is of the essence, however, as ACE reports that the Stasis Box appears to be embedded in an asteroidal fragment currently plunging toward a massive gas giant. In a matter of hours, this potentially priceless treasure will be lost forever...
