Enterprise responds to a distress signal from the disputed Valindross system located along the Federation's border with the Tholian Assembly. While conflicts between these two powers are rare - neither race the worlds inhabited by the other tolerable - Valindross is an exception. Although it has no worlds capable of supporting either a Federation or Assembly colony, it was once home to a race of highly advanced beings. Expeditions into the system by both sides have resulting in technological breakthroughs. The potential resources of Valindross brought the two nations to the brink of war as neither side wanted the other to unearth something too advanced. In the end, both side negotiated a "hands off" agreement.
Upon arriving in Valindross, Enterprise encounters an apparently dead Tholian cruiser. Did the Tholians attempt to exploit the resources of Valindross in violation of treaty? After repeated attempts to contact the Tholians have failed, Kirk moves in to investigate and attempt a rescue. Is this a trap? Or perhaps the opening moves in a game tat may ultimately lead to interstellar war?
I only hope my Polar Lights Enterprise model will look HALF this great!
Thanks for the kind words! My brother was an excellent model builder...a talent I never shared and always envied. Good luck with yours!
Wow, supercool light here. Very original!
I see a third party hand in these. Maybe something that will unite them? smells like a very cloak and dagger multi episode. 3 at least.
Nah. If you can't wrap it up in 60 minutes, it ain't Trek.
Well...with one exception - but that was jury rigged and retrofitted and it didn't matter because it had Susan Oliver in it and that makes my heart skip about 5 beats and....wow...is it hot in here?
What is the exception. And please remeber I am not a trek die hard fan. But i love sci-fi and trek show that we can all get along. Also it showed the wrong things of society and how to correct them.
There was a single two-part episode where the original pilot episode was recycled as a series flashbacks at a trial. It actually worked quite well.
Very Cool! a Masterpiece that Looks like it should be a Poster!
oh a cliffhanger!
