"This is where you get out!"

Just playing around with something to lighten my mood on a rather grim day - so why not do a Traveller image? And what's more fun than a guy getting chucked out of a speeding Shuttlestar at high altitude? Hey, maybe he has some manner of lift belt on...or not. You decide.

Cheers to all of you!

Night Vale Harbor and Waterfront Recreation Area by AbaKon
Night Vale Harbor and Waterfront Recreation Area
The Night Vale Harbor and Waterfront Recreation Area was a multi-million dollar municipal planning disaster constructed in Night Vale. The facilities were conceived by the Night Vale Business Association and funded with millions of taxpayer dollars. It included sturdy docking areas, a boardwalk for pedestrians, and stands for local food vendors and merchants to sell their wares.

Unfortunately, there was no actual waterfront at the Night Vale Harbor and Waterfront Recreation area, as Night Vale is a landlocked town in the middle of a desert.

As soon as it became apparent that the Night Vale Harbor and Waterfront Area was actually an unmitigated fiscal disaster, the NVBA simply denied that it had ever existed, calling it a shared hallucination of the entire town, and the facilities themselves were quietly demolished. The only things that remain on the premises where the Night Vale Harbor and Recreation Facility once stood are several large piles of rubble and a red sign reading, "NOTHING IS HERE. NOTHING WAS EVER HERE."

-----

Based on the wonderful Welcome to Night Vale podcast by Commonplace Books (commonplacebooks.com/). If you are a fan of the strange, macabre, and downright odd, then this show is for you. If you are not already listening to it, do so now. Failure to listen will almost certainly result in a visit from the Sheriff's Secret Police. All Hail the Glow Cloud.

Welcome to Night Vale is wholly owned by people other than me, and I certainly claim no ownership at all of anything associated with the program.

The Breaking Storm by AbaKon
The Breaking Storm
War and rumors of war abound as a macabre darkness begins to spread across the realm. After years of peaceful retirement, Aurora Shadowborn dons her armor and makes ready for battle.

-----

I don't do a lot of fantasy art, which is funny considering how many years I made my living writing fantasy. However, I recently learned that one of my favorite RPGs - Tunnels & Trolls - is being kickstarted in a new edition. How could I resist honoring the wonderful news with a piece of artwork? Aurora Shadowborn is a classic character of mine who has shown up in numerous incarnations throughout my work, but here she is getting ready to adventure anew with the new edition of Tunnels & Trolls.

Hope you like it! For more information about Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls, visit their website (www.deluxetunnelsandtrolls.com….

If you want to be a fat, old guy, who am I to stand in your way?

As for the writer part, the best way to be a writer is to write. Being a trekkie, well, that just came naturally.

BTW - I have to say that your avatar makes me smile.

I'm glad my avatar makes you smile. Once I finish one of my dumb half finished books, maybe I'll publish it and stuff. :)

Awww Dude,

I'm sorry but I left you out of my grand conversation with other "UFO"-enthusiasts --and you were the one I was looking for because of the work you did of the "UFO season 2" portraits.

The scenario was that I was listening and reminiscing about Barry Gray music scores -and that I been dying to get a hold of his cd album/ score for "UFO", which I know for fact is in existence but in order to purchase a cd copy one has to pay first to being a "Fanderson.org" member.

So, hey, do you know differently than this?
Yeah, I know there is ebay or some other like site, which I have yet to really scrutinize for it.

Wish I could help, but nothing's ringing a bell here. Best of luck. Let me know if you find it!
